Guided Groups Using EE Technology

This is not group therapy. This is not guided meditation. This is a deeper level of support, where evidence-based skills and physiological regulation happen together. These guided group experiences are a calm, structured medium for learning supportive practices, listening, and restoring emotional balance.

Groups take place in a room with the EE technology, designed to support a calmer, more receptive state that allows participants to engage more fully. This structure allows for a rare integration of mind and body support, simultaneously.

Guided by licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Linda Olson, these groups are informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles. Each group centers on a specific theme and is presented using evidence-based practices in accessible, non-clinical language.

These groups are not psychotherapy and are not a substitute for mental health treatment.

HOW THE GROUPS WORK

We offer four core group experiences.

Each group stands alone and may be attended individually or combined with others over time.

Two groups are offered each week, rotating on a two-week cycle. You may join at any time—no prior attendance is required, and participation is always optional.

THE THEMES

Group 1 — Mindfulness & Nervous System Awareness

Learn how to slow down, notice your body, and respond instead of react.

This group focuses on present-moment awareness and nervous-system regulation. Participants learn simple, grounding practices to reduce overwhelm, anxiety, and emotional reactivity.

This group provides the foundation for all other groups.

Ideal for:

Group 2 – Parenting with Boundaries & Self-Respect

Learn to say no without guilt and protect your emotional space without feeling depleted.

This group focuses on how you as parent or caregiver can set boundaries in everyday life with family, children and yourself. Participants explore limits, needs, and self-respect without conflict or collapse.

Ideal for:

Group 3 — Love, Connection & Healthy Relationships

Learn how to stay connected without losing yourself.

This group explores healthy connection, communication, and emotional safety in romantic relationships. Participants learn to recognize patterns of over-giving or pulling away—and practice effective communication skills as well as a more balanced, mutual way of relating.

Ideal for:

Group 4 — Grief, Loss & Radical Acceptance

Learn how to hold what hurts without being overwhelmed by it.

This group focuses on coping through grief, loss, and life transitions. Participants learn skills for moving through the stages of grief and towards radical acceptance, finding steadiness even when circumstances cannot be changed.

Ideal for:

“The body inherently knows how to heal – we create the environment that allows it.”
